Aaron graduated with degrees in Laws and Commerce. Over the past two decades, he has held Partner and Director positions in Australia's leading legal and executive search firms.

Aaron's specialisation in legal and executive search has equipped him with an extensive knowledge of the corporate and private practice markets, creating valuable networks with partners and key stakeholders globally. His long standing relationships with executive and lawyer candidates, across diverse practice areas and industry, enable him to facilitate introductions with talent that may not be easily accessible elsewhere.

Having spearheaded over 170 retained and contingent searches, Aaron’s experience spans across key leadership appointments, including managing partners, practice heads, junior partner and partner designate positions. In addition, he has undertaken senior in-house counsel and executive search for a range of corporations and government departments and has played a pivotal role in the facilitation of practice and national law firm mergers, and team acquisitions. Aaron's involvement in these key strategic initiatives has equipped him with a deep understanding of law firm dynamics, culture and commerciality.

Aaron founded Ormond James in 2023 with a commitment to providing clients and talent with a more personalised and less transactional experience, focusing on relationships and transparency. With his comprehensive knowledge of the legal and executive search markets, Aaron tailors each search process to the aspirations of individuals and the unique requirements of his clients.
